Career: After a long career in Law Enforcement, reinvented myself, took my computer "Hobby" and made it my new career concentrating in on Wireless technologies, I am in my 10 year "New Career", with over 8 in the Pharmaceutical / Drug Discovery & Manufacturing & Maintenance, Inventory concentration.

Past responsibilities include leading a team of developers to create wireless handheld applications in the Pharmaceutical R&D, Inventory, and Laboratory Safety area's. Also, architected the complete rollout of a total wireless system for an Enterprise wide Chemical tracking / Lab Safety inspection system that was used in 2 separate countries. This included System testing, selection, installation, and training, and the ongoing support model.

I was also part of the Global Core Team responsible for the Maximo mobile deployment (Handheld deployment Globally)

Current responsibilities include investigating new technologies and wireless solutions for R&D Laboratories in the Pharmaceutical space with concentration on Drug Discovery Laboratories in addition to expanding and moving towards pervasive wireless connectivity throughout all of our R&D sites.

I am currently overseeing a wireless upgrade to a chemical inventory system that tracks, orders, moves, over 700,000 separate chemicals at various sites and laboratories around the company. In addition I am evaluating and recommending the R&D division to move toward and deploy a Unified Communications system that will allow VoWLAN / Push to talk communications / email / calendar / Inter/Intranet / and business applications to be handled over 1 wireless handheld device.
