Vice President of Sales at Tasty Baking Company

Brendan O’Malley is the Vice President of Sales for Tasty Baking Company. He is responsible for all of the company route sales operations. Brendan has worked to increase the company's use of data and system to make decisions and drive execution.

Prior to moving to sales Brendan was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Tasty where he led the company's SAP ERP implementation and the development of its mobile sales application. Brendan also led the design and transition to Tastykake's new data center and technology platform in a green building at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. In his Seven years at Tastykake Brendan modernized almost every component of the Tastykake's technology infrastructure leading to significant cost reductions and higher service levels.

Before coming to Tastykake Brendan worked at Price Waterhouse, PwC and IBM as a business and technology consultant. He has more than 14 years of experience leading and managing business software projects. Brendan has worked with a variety of applications and technologies including SAP, Oracle, and PeopleSoft.

Brendan is a frequent speaker and panel member discussing IT management and best practices. He has been featured and quoted in Consumer Goods Technology, Mobile Enterprise, CIO, and other publications.

Brendan is a Graduate of Princeton University and has an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business. Brendan is a former US Army Airborne Ranger and an Ironman Triathlete. He resides outside of Philadelphia with his wife and 3 children.
