Justin Kershaw is the SVP / CIO of Eaton’s Industrial Sector focused on the business development, engineering, manufacturing and distribution of leading edge power manage-ment applications for the Hydraulics, Aerospace, Automotive and Truck businesses. In his role as the CIO, he has been responsible for all aspects of information technology along with leadership across all areas of operations management. He has held this position since February 2009. Prior to that, he was the VP of IT for the Fluid Power Group, a $4B business unit of Eaton since 2006.

Prior to joining Eaton Justin worked for W. L. Gore and Associates, Inc. (a $2B enterprise and the makers of Gore-Tex) for 10 years. During that time, Justin performed in several roles. He was the company’s information technology leader (CIO). He led the transformation and optimization of operations through a global modernization of information technology and operational systems. He was also a successful lead business development associate for Gore’s high speed electronic inter- connects business responsible for developing and implementing a commercialization plan of the product line for the high per-formance computing industry. He also performed in a business development and product commercialization role for Gore’s North American Bike Wear (apparel) business unit.

Prior to his 10 years with Gore, he worked for F. Schumacher as Director of IT and 9 years for General Electric’s Military and Data System’s Division where he was a Systems Engineering manager responsible for product design, prototype and launch for GE’s Military and Data Systems Division’s defense mapping agency products.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
