Pekka Keskiivari is the CTO for CRF Health, a global provider of electronic clinical data collection services for the pharmaceutical industry. He joined the company in 2006 and is based in Helsinki, Finland. He is responsible for R&D and IT services, including product and technology development, testing and validation, as well as internal and production IT systems. His background is in software and systems development and telecommunications.

Prior to joining CRF Health he worked for TeliaSonera Finland (formerly Sonera Corporation), the leading communications operator in Finland, where he held various executive and management positions in development and management of mobile data technologies, products and services. Prior to TeliaSonera, Mr. Keskiivari was with Neste Corporation, a leading Nordic oil and petrochemical company, where he served in various positions in oil products trading, software and systems development, and management of IT and data networking.

Mr. Keskiivari holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology where he is currently working toward his Ph.D. in advanced query languages. He was also a fellow at MIT's Center for Advanced Engineering Studies
