Eric Rearwin

Mr. Rearwin has been with Chevron for over 22 years, providing a variety of IT software and hardware solutions to its numerous domestic and international business units. Starting in Chevron’s Richmond, California refinery, Mr. Rearwin developed application and database solutions for day-to-day plant operations including compliance, engineering, and maintenance arenas. Throughout that tenure, he became an expert at scanning the technology sector for emerging technologies that could be effectively applied in the Refining business.
Later, a number of those solutions expanded in scope as standardization and economies of scale were addressed in Chevron’s refineries, and he participated in the global deployment of technology projects. As lead architect and senior analyst, Mr. Rearwin deployed a mobile electronic Operator Routine Duties / Operator Driven Reliability framework across Chevron Manufacturing from 2004 to 2009.
Currently part of a new Field Mobility team in Chevron, Mr. Rearwin continues to utilize his broad IT expertise and operational experience to select and deploy mobility solutions in Chevron’s Upstream and Downstream operations.
Mr. Rearwin has a Masters Degree in Management of Information Systems.
