    UPS revolutionized the package delivery business in 1990 when it developed and deployed the first Delivery Acquisition Information Device, known as the DIAD, allowing drivers to use mobile technology to track signatures. By the end of 2014, this fifth generation rugged solution will be utilized by more than 100,000 employees, with an additional 60,000 periphery devices in the field alone. Juan Perez, VP of Technology for UPS will share how UPS manages enterprise-wide operational mobility for this leading organization, and how IT consistently delivers value for both internal and external customers, through improved business processes, technology and innovation.
