ABOUT MOBILE ENTERPRISE

Mobile Enterprise is your one-stop resource for wireless solutions from the C-suite to the field.

Wherever their work takes them -- in the field, in the warehouse, on the manufacturing floor, across the corporate campus, around the world -- Mobile Enterprise readers are engaging wireless solutions to realize efficiencies like never before.

And the Mobile Enterprise franchise is engaging our readers like never before, through print, online and electronic publications, Web seminars, podcasts, White Papers and live events. Everything we do is designed to feed the mobile decision-maker's need for real-world information about the strategies, processes and solutions that are working today -- and are on the horizon for the future.

We're about mobile field service solutions -- and so much more. Through trend stories, case studies, and research, Mobile Enterprise covers the full range of the mobile workforce, from wireless network infrastructure to machine-to-machine communications. From supply chain and logistics solutions to mobile customer relationship management. From the rugged wireless devices used in the harshest environments to the sleekest smartphones seen in the finest corporate boardrooms. Whether your interest is in networking, mobile applications, or devices, Mobile Enterprise has something for you.

We tailor our content to take our readers beyond the solutions themselves, to examine the processes and strategies involved in mobilizing your workforce, managing mobile devices and infrastructure, and ensuring a secure environment.

Our readers cut across many verticals and levels of technical involvement, but they have one thing in common: Our readers are leaders and change agents who are taking their enterprises to the next level by using mobile and wireless solutions and strategies.

Tony Rizzo
Editor-in-Chief

Tony Rizzo returns to the publishing world and joins Mobile Enterprise as Editor in Chief following an almost two year stint on the mobile vendor side of the world. As Tony puts it, “Sometimes you have to cross the line and get your hands dirty in order to effectively and knowledgably communicate to end users and the enterprise what’s going on in the vendor community.” Before crossing the vendor line Tony spent five years as the Director of Mobile Research for research analyst firm The 451 Group. There he lived through both the early stages of enterprise mobility and the first steps of the enterprise mobility consumerization phenomenon following the release of the original iPhone.

Prior to his jump into mobility Tony served as the Editor in Chief of Internet World, as the Editorial Director of an Ernst & Young Financial Services Web Advisory project, as a publishing consultant for CMP Media, as the Editor in Chief of NetGuide (the first Internet magazine), as a founding editor and Editor of Network Computing Magazine, and as the founding Technical Editor of Microsoft Systems Journal (as an early employee of Microsoft back in the days of OS/2).

Prior to his business technology publishing adventures Tony was at New York University, where he developed extensive technology training programs ranging from mainframes to the early years of C, Unix and PCs. He has owned an original IBM PC, an Apple II and a BlackBerry circa 2000, and wonders to this day why he didn’t hold on to any of them. He is also proud to admit that he was a pioneering user of email back when the Internet was known as Arpanet during his NYU days.

Tony resides in Stratford, CT with his wife Melany.
