Apple sold 1 million units of the iPhone 3G in three days after it hit the market July 11. Positioned as a friendlier enterprise option than its predecessor, it now supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync for push email, calendar and contacts. It also offers secure access to corporate resources via the Cisco IPSec VPN and wireless network services with WPA Enterprise and 802.11x authentication.
