Xerox deploys Antenna Software's AMP Service mobile solution to more than 5,500 customer service engineers. The platform enables the company to mobilize its field service business processes, starting with its legacy CRM system and migrating to a new Oracle Siebel CRM system.
The City of Houston Police Dept. is deploying new public safety software for its 5,200 officers and 1,900 civilian personnel. The software, from Tiburon, includes a mobile field reporting system that gives officers in the field the same access and capabilities as they would have at their desktops.
Creighton University's School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, Omaha, Neb., and the St. Louis College Of Pharmacy have each standardized on the Fujitsu LifeBook T Series convertible table PCs. The schools are providing a new tablet to every incoming student.
Centra Windows, a supplier of energy-efficient windows and doors in Vancouver, BC, deploys Flowfinity Actions on smartphones for its field reps. The forms-based wireless application manages the flow of information to and from the field.
