Cliff grew up in Cincinnati and spent 13 years in Chicago before moving to central Missouri. At one time or another, he has worked in virtually every IT job you can imagine. A proud veteran and new grandfather, he enjoys golfing and yard work. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is an honorable mention in the Enterprise-wide Mobility Deployment category of the 2011 Mobilizer Awards.
Indispensable Travel Tool
Trans4m Charger
I can charge most of my devices with this, whether it’s plugged into a wall socket or a car cigarette lighter. It keeps me from carrying a dedicated charger for each device.
Strictly Business
BlackBerry Torch
My BlackBerry allows me to stay in touch with everyone, no matter where I am. It’s amazing how many situations occur on weekends and holidays!
Strictly Personal
Swiss Army Knife
I’ve carried a pocketknife since I was a kid (an old Boy Scout). I’ve “donated” several to the TSA, forgetting I had them in my pocket until I got to airport security.
Entertainment
Sony Walkman MP3 Player
My daughter gave me this for Christmas several years ago, and it works great on those long flights. It’s basically a fancy USB jump drive — nice and small.
