“Businesses of all sizes, industries and requirements want their employees to move faster and make decisions wherever they are,” said Christy Wyatt, Chairman and CEO of Good Technology. “The Good Dynamics platform, new Good app and broad partner ecosystem empowers organizations to mobilize their business from the cloud or on-premise, without compromising security.”

Contextual User Experience
The Good secure mobile collaboration app provides secure email, messaging, contacts, calendar, document management and browsing—bringing all the relevant information business users need into one place; users can easily navigate across enterprise apps and tasks, with no compromise to data security. The solution also delivers a contextual mobile experience, where users are presented with personalized information based on their activities and contacts, such as custom alerts.

Built on the Good Dynamics Secure Mobility Platform, the app offers a rich set of services through the Good-secured ecosystem, such as secure printing and document archiving. Using the platform’s services architecture, the solution integrates mobile presence—pulling in current status information from Good Connect or Microsoft Lync and ensuring that reaching out to colleagues is quick and natural.

Securing Collaboration
As companies move to the cloud, they are looking for a fast, convenient way to adopt business mobility. The new app, available via the cloud as well as on premise, enables small and mid-sized companies to enjoy the same enterprise-grade security global organizations count on, but with the ease and simplicity of a cloud deployment. For individual business owners, the company also released the availability of Good Pro—a secure cloud-based messaging app.

“With the rapidly changing environment of enterprise mobility, IT and business units are looking for a unified approach to secure mobile collaboration,” said Chris Hazelton, research director of mobile and wireless at 451 Research. “Bringing together multiple apps into one contextual experience will increase organizational collaboration and provide true mobile productivity."

Addressing the needs of IT organizations looking for flexibility in utilizing the variety of technologies available for identity management, the company unveiled the Good Trusted Authentication Framework—offering users enhanced mobile security through new authentication methods. Smart cards, tokens and even biometrics can now be used with the Good solution from partners such as Biometrics Associates, EyeVerify, Intercede, Mi-Token and Precise Biometrics.

Expanded Ecosystem
Line of business leaders are looking to further mobilize their business units to drive employee productivity and customer engagement. To address these critical business processes, the Good for Salesforce1 app, bringing together the mobile CRM app with a secure container—enables IT departments to accelerate app deployments company-wide, while complying with highly-regulated security requirements to protect sensitive corporate data on personal smartphones and tablets.

New ecosystem partners that are leveraging the platform to address specific needs for joint users, through secure mobile apps, include AirPatrol, CellTrust, Code Red, Infraware Polaris Office and InterPro—delivering enhanced functionality ranging from secure SMS and secure research management access to more sophisticated document editing and collaboration.

The company launched its first server-based, shared service within the platform that partners can now leverage, BoardPad—a meeting and document collaboration solution that transforms directors’ devices into highly secure digital board and meeting packs; the solution integrates presence to provide enhanced communication and status awareness between users—informing users the availability of other meeting participants, updated live, with information supplied by Good Connect and Microsoft Lync.
