ABERDEEN RESEARCH SURVEY

Location. Location. Location. Does it Matter in Field Service?

A large percentage of companies recently polled by Aberdeen state that they lack the access to real-time data on key service assets. Therefore, some companies are actively looking to use location-based services (LBS) such as GPS (Global Positioning Systems), GIS (Global Information Systems) and AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) to effectively monitor and route their field assets. Preliminary findings indicate that this real-time data access can boost worker productivity by 30%.

This survey will benchmark best-in-class strategies in the adoption and use of location-based field service solutions to enhance productivity, customer satisfaction and overall profitability.
