BranchServ Deploys Apacheta's Mobile Field Service Application

Mobile workflow application vendor Apacheta today announced that BranchServ, which provides physical and electronic security equipment and service solutions for banks and credit unions, has selected the Apacheta ServiceACE mobile field service application to automate its field service operations.

 
Apacheta partnered with PEAK Technologies to provide BranchServ with a comprehensive solution -- PEAK Technologies will also supply BranchServ with Motorola ES400 Enterprise Digital Assistant (EDA) mobile devices and related support services, and BranchServ will run a hosted version of the ServiceACE mobile field service application through Apacheta’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution Apacheta Online.
 
“Using ServiceACE, our field service reps will be able to see their service call schedule, look up customer information, track parts inventory and access our repair knowledgebase, all from their mobile devices,” Greg Navin, vice president of engineering and IT at BranchServ, said in a statement. “In our business, it is critical that security equipment is serviced quickly and efficiently. ServiceACE will allow us to streamline our processes and therefore deliver better service to the customer.”
