DecisionPoint Systems Deploys Field Mobility Solution For Several Hundred Drivers

By PRESS RELEASE — June 01, 2010

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA--(Marketwire) DecisionPoint Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise mobility solutions, today announced that it has successfully delivered an integrated and fully customized mobile tracking solution to several hundred drivers for Corporate Transit of America, a regional courier and logistics company based in Little Rock, AR.

The mobile tracking system was a key component to Corporate Transit of America winning a large contract with a major new customer.
Corporate Transit of America, Inc. is one of the nation's largest same-day ground delivery service providers with a growing, blue-chip client list. The Company has grown revenues to over $50 Million in 2006, through new relationship developments with the fastest growing corporations in America. Corporate Transit of America's suite of transportation services has helped these companies outsource critical transportation functions, decrease operating costs and gain efficiencies, allowing them to focus on their core business.

Within 60 days, DecisionPoint worked with Corporate Transit of America to customize and deploy CXT Software's X Mobile application to several hundred Motorola MC55 mobile computers that each one of their drivers uses. This created an operational tracking system that enabled bar code scanning, signature capture and chain of custody tracking when combined with CXT Software's X Mobile offering.

"Corporate Transit of America is very pleased with the implementation of the MC55 using DecisionPoint at multiple locations, and we are confident in our decision," said Randy Edmonds, Senior Vice President for Corporate Transit of America. "Our customer is extremely satisfied with the technology we have provided them and in the timely manner that users were trained on the device's functionality."
Darin Soll, Chief Executive Officer of CXT Software, added, "DecisionPoint Systems understands the value of having our X Mobile application pre-installed and ready to go, out of the box. Randy's team at Corporate Transit of America was in very good hands."

"We are pleased to have delivered an integrated field mobility solution for Corporate Transit of America," stated Brent Felker, DecisionPoint's Vice President of Field Mobility. "The increased tracking capability required by many of the 'last mile' carrier's customers can be difficult, but Corporate Transit of America took a proactive approach to taking on the challenge. We at DecisionPoint are happy we could help meet the challenge."
