Futura Mobility and AeroScout are partnering to provide Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) to hospitals. RTLS works by unifying all enterprise visibility data on a single Wi-Fi-based platform to automate business processes and deliver context-aware applications.

With this partnership, Futura Mobility will leverage AeroScout's real-time asset management solutions that deliver location and status of mobile assets and equipment. Key components of the collaboration include temperature and humidity monitoring, patient flow and safety.

"AeroScout's Wi-Fi-based, real-time location system technology is unparalleled in the industry. It's ability to locate and track assets both indoors and out, and meet numerous application needs, is the most comprehensive solution we've found," said David Gulian, CEO, Futura Mobility. "We understand that improving efficiency in asset management is a critical element to success and are excited about the benefits this will bring to our healthcare clients."

AeroScout's technology leverages clients' existing WiFi infrastructure and integrates with most healthcare IT software systems. The technology has the ability to track current and historical location, status and conditions of assets, patients and staff and manage valuable assets and people through a single web-based user interface with reporting tools and dashboards. In addition, the technology automatically sends an alert regarding context-based events that require immediate attention.

"We are pleased to be working with Futura Mobility in a capacity that will help hospitals and enterprise corporations transform their operations," said Gabi Daniely, Vice President of Marketing, AeroScout. "This collaboration enables these organizations to ultimately enhance patient care through mobile asset management."
