Headquartered in Reading, Pennsylvania, EnerSys manufactures and services a broad line of batteries and chargers for electric lift trucks, ground support equipment, and mining equipment. Service technicians often go onsite to install, troubleshoot and repair industrial batteries and chargers.
EnerSys was prompted to look for a new software solution in order to gain efficiencies in their service operations, as well as offer more customer-focused service contracts.
"Being able to offer customized service contracts means that we can better fit the needs of our customers, and also provides EnerSys with incremental revenue opportunities," said Greg Zuckerman, Director of Service Operations. "Managing complex agreements using our current processes was difficult at best."
EnerSys will be utilizing all facets of Metrix Service, including Contact Center, Schedule and Dispatch, Inventory Management, and Asset and Warranty Tracking. They will extend the solution out to the field via Metrix Mobile, and they will also utilize Metrix's Customer Portal, where clients can request service as well as track their requests.
