WorkLight, a leading provider of mobile application platform technology, announced a new Partner Program for independent software vendors (ISVs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and services and technology companies to help capitalize on the high-growth demand for mobile applications. The program is designed to help partners best leverage the WorkLight Mobile Platform and deliver rich and engaging mobile application solutions for consumer, business, or internal use.
WorkLight partners worldwide will be entitled to trial licenses via the WorkLight Developer Zone, training resources, partner-level product support and assistance, co-marketing and PR opportunities including usage of the WorkLight logo, joint field engagements with access to qualified sales leads and margin for distributors and resellers.
The WorkLight Partner Program is ideal for:
- Services Companies – Mobile and Web development firms, system integrators, and IT outsourcers that design or build mobile applications.
- ISVs and OEMs – Software companies and software-as-a-service (SaaS) suppliers with apps that can be extended using the WorkLight platform.
- Technology Suppliers – Mobile, infrastructure, hardware, and other technology companies with product offerings that are complementary to WorkLight.
WorkLight believes it is the best mobile platform company to partner with due to the openness and flexibility of its technology. The WorkLight Partner Program offers three levels: Select, Premier and Strategic. Partners are accepted for a level based on technology skill, experience with WorkLight technology and business volume and impact. Unlike other offerings in the market, WorkLight does not compete with its partners by building packaged applications or custom applications for its customers.
Today, WorkLight partners include many of the world's leading services, ISV and OEM, and technology companies such as Google, RIM, Microsoft, IBM, Fiserv, Amdocs, and many others.
“WorkLight provides a mobile application platform which can be used by partners to offer consumer, business and internal-facing apps for smartphones and tablets,” says Shahar Kaminitz, CEO of WorkLight. “We will continue to invest in our open technology platform and open partnership ecosystem to help enable exceptional mobile applications with the best economics.”
The WorkLight mobile platform is a robust, enterprise-grade infrastructure that enables development, integration and management of rich mobile applications. The platform consists of the WorkLight Studio, a multiplatform IDE for native, Web and hybrid development; the WorkLight Server for secure delivery, deployment and back-end integration; and the WorkLight Console for ongoing management and dynamic control for applications and infrastructure.
Amir Shary, head of integration division, Matrix, says, “The WorkLight platform is uniquely suited to building rich custom mobile solutions for our clients.
