The driver license practice test can now be downloaded for free at the iTunes Store. Nebraska is among the first states to develop applications specifically for the iPad.

"By offering the driver license practice test on one of the newest and innovate new tools, Nebraska continues to lead the way in using technology to serve our citizens," said Beverly Neth, Director of the Nebraska Department of Motor Vehicles. "We are thrilled to be the first agency in Nebraska to use this new method to reach people."

With the practice test, new drivers are able to prepare for the written test, one of the requirements needed to receive a driver license. It is also a great tool for those new to the state as well as drivers who want a refresher on the rules of the road.
