AssetWorks Inc., a provider of appraisal services and software solutions to asset- and infrastructure-intensive businesses, announced that the Cedar Rapids Community School District (CRCSD) Board of Education voted to approve a committee recommendation to use AssetWorks for inventory appraisal services and a fixed asset management software solution. While the committee accepted separate proposals for inventory services and software solutions, AssetWorks was the only vendor submitting proposals in both categories.

"The ability of AssetWorks to seamlessly integrate software and services set them apart in terms of the value our district would receive," said Steve Graham, Executive Director - Business Services for Cedar Rapids Community School District. "We are confident that AssetWorks solution meets the needs of our district, helping us effectively manage our fixed asset inventory."

AssetWorks plans to begin work at CRCSD with comprehensive, on-site inventory services. This includes helping the district establish accurate capital asset records and determine useful life and depreciation schedules for all fixed assets and infrastructure. The data collected will be delivered to CRCSD in AssetWorks' asset management software solution giving the district the ability to continue to manage and report on their fixed asset inventory.

With a dynamic reporting tool and automated workflow processes for adding, modifying and disposing of assets, AssetWorks' software solution can increase organizational efficiencies and streamline data communication processes for CRCSD.
