Bike Case & Mount for iPhone 5

— March 11, 2013

This year's Bike to Work Week is scheduled for May 13-17. According to the 2010 U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey, more than half of one percent of American workers bicycle to work, an increase of almost 40% since 2000.

To protect mobile devices while in transit, Scosche, a manufacturer of consumer technology and car audio installation hardware, has released its reqKASE for iPhone 5. The lightweight bike case and mount, made from durable silicone, features an adjustable strap to secure an iPhone 5 to handlebars or a bike’s frame.

The case can be mounted vertically or horizontally and the integrated adjustable strap is designed to conform to almost any handlebar size. A notch system secures the case at any width, ensuring that the mounted iPhone won't move or spin while riding.

The durable mount also keeps the iPhone protected without hindering the ability to operate the device. The headphone jack, speakers, mute switch and forward facing camera all remain open for use. In addition, volume controls are covered for protection.

The reqKASE retails for $24.99 and is also available for iPhone 4 & 4S.
