CipherLab Offers IP67 Protection

CipherLab, a provider of Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) has announced that the CP60 rugged mobile computer, designed for employees in the field, has received an excellent Ingress Protection Rating. The IP ratings, which are internationally recognized, certifies the device to be rugged and reliable.

 
The CP60 has been under the protection of IP65, but has been upgraded to a certified IP67, a very high standard. It fully eliminates any ingress of dust, has complete protection from contact and protects the device from liquid immersion up to 1m.
 
The device features flexible wireless communication options in 3.8G HSPA+, 802.11 a/b/g/n, and Bluetooth V2.1 with EDR along with embedded GPS/AGPS. In addition, the rugged mobile computer is armed with a 1GHz processor and multiple operating system options in Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5.3.
 
It also comes fully equipped with a 4 GB flash memory and 512 MB SDRAM, which allows for extended storage of data and software.

The CP60 also provides accurate data capture with laser reader, long range laser reader, 2D imager and 5 megapixel autofocus camera.
