Company Debuts Business Intelligence Apps for iPad

— October 02, 2012

Infragistics introduced ReportPlus, its suite of self-service mobile business intelligence apps for the iPad.

The suite comes in three versions: ReportPlus Enterprise, ReportPlus Pro and ReportPlus Lite. With the solution, workers can securely access corporate data, quickly create reports and dashboards and make business decisions on the go. The solution also features a simple user interface and requires no IT support or server-side software.

End users can use the solution to remotely connect to enterprise data sources such as Microsoft SQL Server, analysis servers, reporting services, SharePoint, oData, web services and web content, and can create real-time reports and dashboards directly on the iPad.

The dashboards and reports utilize Infragistics data visualization charts, grids, gauges and maps to make data stand out. Users can also manipulate the data to make informed decisions based on key business metrics. Each dashboard and report can be shared by email, exported to a PDF, presented as a slideshow and uploaded to a company’s repository in a SharePoint document library for collaboration amongst teams.

“ReportPlus is our answer to business users who want self-service apps that don’t require IT intervention, and to IT departments that need to keep corporate data secure,” says Dean Guida, CEO of Infragistics.
