— December 05, 2012

IOGEAR has answered consumers' need for higher volume mobile battery charging with its new Ultra Capacity Mobile Power Station with 11,000mAh (milliampere-hours) of power for tablets, smartphones, cameras and other portable devices. A new addition to the IOGEAR GearPower family, the Ultra Capacity Mobile Power Station offers one of the industry's highest power capacities at the lowest price.

With a style matching popular portable products, the Ultra Capacity Mobile Power Station ($69.95) has a pair of USB ports to simultaneously recharge two power drained devices when conventional A/C wall power is not available. The first output port supports most portable devices, including iPhones, Android phones, iPods, BlackBerry and digital media players and cameras. The second port supports iPads, most tablets and other devices that require 2.1A compatibility, in addition to phones, digital media players and other devices. An easy-to-view LED indicator shows consumers how much battery life remains.

The Ultra Capacity Mobile Power Station is available online and will be sold through online retailer partners. Lightweight at 0.65 pounds, it can easily fit in the bags of students, travelers, business professionals and other high capability mobile device users. It also has built-in short-circuit and over-charge prevention, temperature regulation and a carrying case to protect the unit.
