SOTI MDM Solution Passes Samsung SAFE Testing

— October 16, 2012

SOTI has completed Samsung’s quality assurance testing for participation as an MDM solution in the SAFE program. Earlier this year, Samsung launched the SAFE program for mobile devices that offer enhanced enterprise security and management capabilities.

To protect sensitive corporate information, SOTI’s MobiControl MDM solution addresses the management and security demands of corporations and empowers IT departments with advanced tools to centrally manage, secure, track and support mobile operations.

Timothy Wagner, VP and general manager of enterprise sales for Samsung Mobile, says, “SOTI MobiControl completed a series of tests with Samsung in order to receive the SAFE designation. By participating in Samsung’s SAFE program, SOTI MobiControl ensures that a corporation’s sensitive data is secured and protected when using Samsung mobile devices.”

SAFE provides a comprehensive approach to making Android devices secure and manageable by systematically meeting the evolving needs of IT and the growing number of businesses implementing bring your own device (BYOD) policies. Samsung created SAFE as a way to defragment the Android OS across its multiple versions on U.S. carriers. With SOTI’s successful completion of the Samsung SAFE quality assurance process, MobiControl on Samsung SAFE devices now delivers secure, differentiated security solutions for business users.
