— September 25, 2012

Multi-touch user interface solutions provider N-trig revealed that Fujitsu’s STYLISTIC Q702 business hybrid tablet uses the G4 DuoSense product line, featuring active pen and multi-touch capabilities on the same touch sensor.

Designed for enterprise use and compatible with the Windows 8 operating system, the device can be used as a tablet, and also features an attachable keyboard docking station for conversion into a notebook-style computer.

The device features an 11.6-inch HD display with an active pen and 10-finger multi-touch user interface. The DuoSense solution provides increased processing power and delivers a faster, more responsive user interface. The active pen includes a tip design that provides the accuracy required for handwriting recognition together with palm rejection technology that enables a natural pen-on-paper handwriting experience.

The new device is intended for use in industries as sales, healthcare, life science, government, education, finance and manufacturing. The active pen enables content creation in a mobile environment, enabling enterprise users to conduct on-screen editing, drawing and designing, document-signing, and long-distance collaboration.
