DSI Updates dcLINK MOBILEApps Inquiries and Approvals

By Jessica Binns, Contributing Editor
Data Systems International, Inc. (DSI), a global provider of mobile solutions, updated dcLINK MOBILEApps Inquiries and Approvals.

dcLINK MOBILEApps Inquiries and Approvals is a pre-packaged suite of applications that mobilize common administrative tasks such as approving expenses, invoices and purchase orders, as well as reviewing inventory availability, work orders and sales orders, to assist in the decision-making process.

The applications are designed to work on prominent smartphones, tablets and other consumer-grade devices, including Apple, Android, BlackBerry and Windows handsets. This allows management personnel to complete key business activities anywhere work takes them.

"Executives in today's global economy are constantly on the move, so they need a solution that is equally agile and allows them to be responsive to employee requests," said Kyle Dunn, DSI product manager. "Our mobile applications streamline the decision-making process, improving productivity and communication while reducing needless bottlenecks."

Dunn said the new release enhances management of administrative duties by offering more extensive functionality for processing sales and service orders, as well as approving expenses, invoices and purchase orders. Moreover, the solution features validated or certified integrations with leading enterprise applications such as JD Edwards World, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP.

"This release highlights DSI's continuous efforts to mobilize critical business functions across the enterprise systems companies depend on to power their businesses," Dunn said. "By extending the reach of these enterprise investments, we're also helping our customers extend the value of their business, in addition to becoming more efficient."

dcLINK MOBILEApps Inquiries and Approvals are built using DSI's dcLINK Mobile Application Platform™. The dcLINK Mobile Application Platform features a robust Integrated Development Environment (IDE), diverse mobile device deployment options and standard integrations to leading enterprise applications and databases.
