Enterasys Delivers OneFabric

Enterasys Networks, a Siemens Enterprise Communications company, is offering OneFabric Connect, a solution which enables the integration of third-party applications into the OneFabric Control Center for improved enterprise mobility, zero-effort onboarding and BYOD support.

The enhancements include integration with third-party solutions for Mobile Device Management (MDM), next-generation firewall and web filtering, Unified Communication (UC) and infrastructure support – all interoperating in one ecosystem. With no vendor lock-in, Enterasys customers also have the flexibility and choice to integrate third-party tools, applications and legacy network infrastructure.

OneFabric Connect allows seamless integration with dozens of partners including MobileIron, AirWatch and JAMF Casper Software for MDM integration; Avaya and Polycom for UC; and Palo Alto Networks and iboss Security for next-generation firewall and web filtering. Enterasys is actively working to add new partners to this ecosystem.

Key Benefits
  • Integrates with MDM to extend zero-effort onboarding to mobile devices for transparent high quality and consistent user experience.
  • Consolidates all management and control to a single pane of glass for the highest degree of operational simplicity and automation, offering advanced analytics, visibility and control across multiple applications (i.e. UC, firewall, web filtering, etc.) to provide a better user experience and operational efficiencies.
  • Provides centralized visibility and granular control of the enterprise network fabric – both wired and wireless, enabling IT staff to avoid time-consuming configuration tasks, greatly reducing TCO.
