Global Relief Technologies Launches Its Newest Rapid Data Management System
By Ariel Jones
Global Relief Technologies (GRT), a provider of mobile field-data workflow technology solutions for the enterprise, recently announced the release of version 6.0 of its Rapid Data Management System (RDMS). The updated solution enables businesses to securely capture structured and accurate data in the field.
With RDMS 6.0, mobile employees and field personnel can quickly and accurately collect, transfer, and analyze data. The solution also features a new intuitive graphical user interface optimized for both smartphones and tablets, and a new Workflow Rules & Computation Engine which validates structured data and delivers more accurate data collection capabilities.
In addition to the standard features of RDMS 5.0, the latest version provides GPS/GIS-integrated mapping capabilities for field service workers, as well as signature capture capability, auto-populate features, and dynamic GPS-, Photo-, and Sketch-reporting functionality.
Version 6.0 will also come equipped with real-time two-way communication capability, the ability to work online or offline, and the ability to configure settings according a specific user's requirements. Users will also have the option to connect to Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) Satellite Communications when wireless or other modes of connection are not available.
"RDMS version 6.0 continues one of GRT’s key business objectives: to be the premier mobile field-data collection application for mobile workforces worldwide," Mark Mullin, Chief Technology Officer of GRT, said in a statement. "What this means for companies and organizations who utilize RDMS 6.0 by GRT are significantly improved operational productivity and performance standards accompanied with the highest levels of data accuracy and data integrity for operational and business analysis."
RDMS 6.0 can be deployed on any wireless carrier network, and on any Android- or Windows Mobile OS-powered smartphone, tablet, or PDA. GRT has plans to release an Apple iOS version later this year.
