IGC Releases an Enterprise-Focused Version of its Brava! Solution

By Ariel Jones

Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), a developer of viewing, annotating, and redaction tools, has released an updated version of its Brava! document viewing and collaboration software. Version 7.1 of the solution is designed specifically with mobile employees in the enterprise in mind.

New features of Brava! 7.1 Enterprise edition include the new Changemark viewer, which extends workflow and collaboration capabilities to smartphone users. The viewer is available in an HTML version for all smartphones, and as a native application for iPhones. Version 7.1 also delivers video support to mobile device and desktop users, meaning that they can add comments and markups to any video clip.

To improve Brava!'s speed, performance, and scalability, IGC implemented Shared Cache. With this new feature, users can almost immediately begin working on server-hosted documents again, even if the server fails.

Brava! 7.1 also features improved thumbnail views, external search functionality, and improved 508 compliance, including full keyboard accessibility.

"IGC is dedicated to offering the best viewing and collaboration software, and we made significant strides towards that in Brava 7.1 with our first steps into mobile and video," Gary Heath, IGC's President and CEO, said in a statement. "These really make Brava more useful to more users, and we'll be building on these themes throughout 2012."
