Manage Corporate Cards On The Road

As the mobile workforce changes the way transactions are conducted with smartphone devices, small and medium businesses (SMBs) require mobile tools to remotely manage cash flow.

In response, PEX Card, a corporate prepaid card service for business expense control, has launched PEX Mobile (SM), a suite of iOS and Android applications. This new app enables administrators to perform critical day to day cash management and expense control functions from the road or a job site using smartphones.

"In this economy, businesses are constantly in an 'all hands on deck' mode of operating," said Toffer Grant, CEO and Founder of PEX Card, adding that "administrators often play more than one role within their organization, and don't have the luxury of managing employee spending from behind a desk."

The new mobile app is designed to allow administrators to:

  • Improve response time for employees that need funds for company expenses immediately;
  • Control cash by enabling or limiting certain spending as required, in real time from the field;
  • Limit risk by suspending employee card use;
  • Access information about company program and cards, and review transactions by cardholder.
