New InFocus Projector Compatible With Tablets

InFocus Corp., a digital display technology leader and visual collaboration champion, announced the release of two new projectors in the IN1100 series—the company’s smallest and lightest projectors. With HDMI connectivity, ultra portability and high brightness, the IN1100 series is the perfect match for the tablet lover, smartphone enthusiast, and, of course, the traditional Mac or PC user.

Embrace the Tablet Boom
With tablet sales expected to top $29.4 billion this year, enterprises are making the decision to provide employees with mobile tablet devices, sometimes in place of traditional laptops, making tablet compatibility with large-format display technology critical for visually collaborating with several people.

The IN1100 series offers presenters the opportunity to connect via HDMI to present full HD quality video in seconds. HDMI inputs allow for easy connectivity to popular devices such as the iPad 2, iPhone, Android, and Windows-based tablets. Additionally, the IN1100 series also comes equipped with VGA, s-video and composite video connections, as well as new audio-out capability for connecting to external audio systems.

The Perfect Pairing of Power and Size
Weighing in at only 2.7 lbs (1.2 kg) and boasting up to 2200 lumens, the two new models in the IN1100 series are a powerful solution for businesses and traveling professionals. The slim design and durable construction, including its recessed lens and tethered lens cap, make it easy to transport the projector while traveling on business, as well as making it easy to move it from one office to another.

Additionally, its high brightness and 2600:1 contrast ratio guarantees that the projected content will be crisp and brilliant regardless of the room’s ambient light. Organizations can choose between models offering a native resolution XGA (1024 × 768) or WXGA (1280 × 800) resolution to project high-definition, widescreen content without scaling.

Busy salespersons or corporate executives are constantly on the go and need to effectively visually collaborate in unpredictable environments. As one of the brightest projectors pound-for-pound, presenters will be confident that their images will be clear and bright no matter what lighting situation they face.

Additionally, features such as auto keystone correction and the preset button allow the IN1100 series to provide the best image quality regardless of the projection angle or surface color.

“We are seeing that businesses and traveling professionals are wholeheartedly embracing the tablet and the IN1100 is an ideal solution for those looking to travel light but still have huge display capabilities,” says David Woolf, InFocus product line vice president. “The visual impact of going from a 10-inch tablet to a 300-inch image is unmatched, whether one is collaborating with colleagues or playing a few games of Angry Birds.”

Availability
The IN1110 and IN1112 come with an industry-leading, five-year limited factory warranty and are available through authorized resellers or at InFocus.com.
