Unleash the Power of MS Office on Your Tablet
Soonr Inc. announced editing for Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) files on iPad and Android (Honeycomb) tablets. A secure cloud service for teams to work together on digital content from any device, Soonr Workplace transforms tablets into convenient, on-the-go business productivity tools for working with and sharing important documents.
As businesses consider the practical value of tablets, Soonr combines convenience with productivity allowing Microsoft Office and other documents to be accessed and edited just as if they were on a laptop. Unlike other tools, Soonr iPad editing is fully integrated with the cloud service, and users can edit online or offline, without risking lost changes due to connectivity issues.
"Tablets and smartphones are evolving from consumer into business tools to accommodate the modern, on-the-go workforce," says Martin Frid-Nielsen, co-founder and CEO of Soonr. "With Soonr, you can travel lighter by leaving your laptop at home and still have the ability to access and edit documents on the go."
Today, 40,000 businesses rely on Soonr for securely storing, sharing, accessing, searching, editing, and syncing critical files. The safety and security of user data is of the utmost importance to Soonr, which operates its own data centers with 256-bit encryption, HIPAA, and SAS 70 compliance.
